Message Board Bug Fix and Adjustment Update

The message board team has continued to work on developing adjustments to the message boards and fixing outstanding bugs. For instance last week, the Edit Board Info board administration tool was updated and several related bugs were fixed. There have also been two other adjustments that launched within the last week.

Edit Board Information Update and Bug Fixes

You may have noticed that the Edit Board Info page in the Admin Center looks a little different. The tool was updated today in order to fix the Board Info bugs, make the pages more secure, and update the code and technology that the tool is built on.

Changes in Newsroom Comments

We have made a change in the form for leaving comments on the RootsWeb Newsroom. Instead of entering your name and email address, you only have to log in and your username will automatically be associated with the comment.
