Revised Lists Homepage

The lists homepage at http://lists.rootsweb.com has been modified to highlight the archive and find a list searches. The browse page that used to be the lists homepage is still accessible at http://lists.rootsweb.com/index so you still have all of the browse functionality that more experienced users may have come to rely on.

Link to View a Message Board Author’s Posts Added

You can now view all posts made by a message board author.  Simply navigate to a message and click on the “View Posts” link that appears next to the author name. This will take you to a page that gives you the option of viewing the author’s messages listed by board or date posted.

Message Boards Admin List & Links Added to My Account

Message board admins can now add the list of boards they administer to the RootsWeb Services section of their My Accounts page.  The list displays the board name, navigation ”path”, and links to both the board and the board admin tools.

To add the list of boards you admin, sign in and click on “My Account” in the upper-right of most RootsWeb pages. The message boards you administer should automatically appear in the list of RootsWeb services.  If you do not see your boards, you can click on the ’Add existing services to this account” link and follow the steps shown.

Lately we have been working to improve our list email deliverability rate with large email providers. As part of this effort, we have had to make some changes to comply with their rules and regulations.
